Bradley County Virtual School Profile
Bradley County Virtual School provides progressive non-traditional educational opportunities for over 120 students in grades 6-12. Instructional delivery makes use of Edgenuity, a fully digital, standards-aligned online courseware platform; Zoom video conferencing; Google Workspace for Education; and other tools. Classes are facilitated by certified, Bradley County School District teachers.
BCVS combines a rigorous academic program with virtual student support, as well as experiential learning opportunities to create an extraordinary learning experience. Virtual courses are aligned with Bradley County instructional goals as well as Tennessee academic standards, curriculum frameworks, and assessments. All courses follow approved Tennessee Department of Education Standards.
Tennessee School Report Card
The Tennessee State Report Card includes a dashboard of detailed, easy-to-understand information about school and district performance including school letter grades, student achievement, growth, English learners' proficiency in English, graduation rate, and postsecondary readiness. Information about student enrollment, staff information, discipline, and school and district funding are also available on the Tennessee State Report Card. State-level data is provided as a reference to understand how schools and districts are performing in comparison with others across the state.
Tennessee Virtual School Monitoring Report
Each year, school districts across Tennessee monitor the instructional, financial, and operational practices within their virtual schools using a state-defined series of common practices and requirements. This report reflects the school district’s assessment of a virtual school’s academic, operational, and financial viability.
